Scholarship Program 

Our Cosechando Oportunidades [Harvesting
Opportunities] scholarship program intends to
open educational doors and improve job opportunities
for young people on the South Coast of Guatemala.  

University scholarships are also awarded to young people under 25 years of age to study agricultural, industrial or automotive engineering at Universidad del Valle Campus Sur. 

Through this initiative, sugar mills grant scholarships for high quality technical training at Instituto Técnico de Capacitación –INTECAP-, in areas such as industrial mechanics, automotive electromechanics, industrial welding, industrial electronics, hydraulic circuits, automotive mechanics, among others. 

With this program, the Sugar Cane Agroindustry promotes the technical and professional training of young people and contributes to increasing opportunities for a better future for them, their families and their communities.
